Dandies & Quaintrelles (est. 2009), a Washington, DC based social
group, organizes and hosts vintage-inspired, stylish events in
partnership with and in support of noble causes. D&Q is founded on the
ideals of refined style and purposeful living.


As always, the ride is free! D&Q is requesting a $5 donation to help
cover efforts toward organizing the event. Fifty per cent of your
donations will go towardArts for the Aging, a non-profit organization
dedicated to enhancing the lives of older adults through the arts.
Registering for the ride will ensure that you receive the ride's start-
point materials and other related items via e-mail. Donate for a
great cause and support the efforts of D&Q.

"Betweed You and Me " - A Post Ride Celebration.

D&Q is bringing Dandy Wellington and his House of Boots production
company from NYC to provide top notch retro style entertainment to
follow a vintage bicycle-inspired fashion show featuring local
designers and vintage shops. Relax after the tweed ride as the music
of Drew Nugent's 20's era swing band fills the air, where performers
Gin Minsky and Ekat aim to delight. Entertainment will be hosted by
the legendary Dandy Wellington! Regardless of the weather, the Tweed
Party will go on rain or Shine.

Be sure to register early as number of tickets are limited! Tickets
will allow access to the Tweed Party and provide you with drink
tickets to fabulous cocktails provided by Hendricks Gin and St.
Germain Liquor.

Halloween Cruise 10/19

Ghoulish ride: Halloween is right around the corner, not that corner, the scarier one. Let's all don our costumes and attempt to scare/amuse/confuse the greater Mt. Pleasant area. Bring some candied treats for some reverse trick-or-treating (contra flow treating?). Details: 830 PM, 10/19 at the gates of Mt. Pleasant (mt p and lamont st) and ending as always at the Raven. Scare you later and see you there!

One Last (summertime) Hurrah (9/21)

It's hard to believe, but summer's almost over. Let's cruise one last time before it officially ends. It's a light-up-the-end-of-summer theme, so cover your bike with lights. Blinkies, flashies, old Christmas lights, spoke lights, fluorescent tube lights, whatever. Let's go out big and bright!

Happy Birthday! Cruise (7/20)

We haven't celebrated your birthday yet this year, so we're going to do it on the 20th... b cruiser style Meet at the park between Lamont and Mt. Pleasant streets at 8:30pm. Once gathered, we'll head down to The Mall to cruise around the monuments and bust out our birthday celebrations. You won't want to miss this event ('cause it's in your honor!).
